About Us

Emulating the seminar format, the Yale Undergraduate Literary Society aims to provide a space for those interested in conversations on topics and issues related to difference, culture, humanity, philosophy, history, and politics considered in mainly literary contexts. We practice articulating complicated ideas on issues members care about and teasing out left-over ideas from classes, events, and news. Speaker events consist of inviting Yale faculty, visiting authors, museum curators, etc. to lead discussions. People from all majors and all backgrounds are encouraged to join!
