YAI focuses on providing members experience in alternative investing: private equity, venture capital, real estate, and hedge funds. Through working on projects with established funds, members are given student internships, acquiring valuable hands-on financial experience while gaining insight into the mechanics of alternative investing. Beyond project-based learning, YAI seeks to pursue deeper into the alternative investment space by inviting guest speakers and providing exclusive opportunities to network with industry professionals. As Yale's first and only finance organization centered solely on alternative investing, YAI offers an unparalleled experience to contribute to multi-million and billion dollar investments as an undergraduate.
