About Us

To foster and encourage the empirical exploration of financial securities and opportunities by relying on modern computational and statistical techniques, in an environment of joint discovery, cooperation and interdisciplinarity. YSQFO is devoted to educating the Yale community about quantitative finance, both in theory and practice, as well as prepare members for future careers in the area. YSQFO is the umbrella organization for all things quant finance-related on campus, including the Yale Student Quantitative Research Group (YSQRG) and Yale Undergraduate Computational Finance Club (YUCFC).
