About Us

The Yale Student Chapter of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers exists to foster a strong, inclusive community for students interested in mechanical engineering and related STEM disciplines. The organization serves Yale undergraduates by providing professional development, technical enrichment, and industry exposure through hands-on workshops, networking events, and speaker series. By reconnecting students with the broader ASME professional network and creating accessible pathways to mentorship, research, and career opportunities, the chapter aims to support students’ academic growth and prepare them for impactful engineering careers.
