Our Goals

We envision creating a welcoming community for researchers and students throughout Yale to learn more about the intersection of AI and computational biology. Towards facilitating this forum, we have two complementary goals:

Keep pace with the field by discussing recent advances in foundation models, regulatory genomics, single-cell analysis, multimodal learning, and related areas.

Build an accessible on-ramp for researchers who are entering computational biology applications of AI and want a rigorous introduction to the concepts, assumptions, and practical limitations behind these methods.
