Programming

Each spring, the Barristers' Union hosts a trial advocacy competition at the law school in which all class years are welcome to participate. The intramural competition is open only to Yale Law School students, and culminates in a championship trial, over which a sitting judge or prominent attorney presides every year. Interested students may also compete against other law schools on the national trial advocacy team, which travels to tournaments around the country. First-year students may also attend social events and lunch talks about trial advocacy that the Board hosts throughout the year.
