The Holden Tanner '21 Memorial Prize

The Holden Tanner '21 Memorial Prize commemorates Yale Federalist Society alumnus Holden Tanner, who passed away in 2022.

To all who knew him, it was clear that Holden Tanner '21 had a promising future as a budding academic and lawyer. The Holden Tanner '21 Memorial Prize commemorates an exceptional member of the Yale Federalist Society. It is a testament to all those whose lives were bettered by Holden's kindness and whose minds were uplifted by his intellect.

Endowed during the 2023-2024 academic year, the Prize is awarded on the basis of an exceptional piece of written scholarship by a current student-member or young alumnus of the Yale Federalist Society. The Tanner Prize recognizes exceptional scholarship and, through such recognition, perpetuates Holden's legacy of the fearless pursuit of truth.
