McDougal Graduate Student Life (GSL) Fellows and staff are here to organize grad social , wellness, and other programs and events in the McDougal Graduate Student Center, across the Yale campus and in New Haven. McDougal GSL Fellows are grad students peer-programmers who plan a wide variety of grad events in Family, Health & Wellness, International, Public Service, Social, and Sports & Recreation & West Campus.
McDougal GSL Events can:
- bring you together with other graduate students & families to build community & socialize outside the lab, classroom or libraryallow you to explore and enjoy Yale and New Haven & expand your horizons
- allow you to explore and enjoy Yale and New Haven & expand your horizons
- help you balance your academic and personal life
- build leadership and networking skills for your career
The Graduate Student Life Office oversees the McDougal Graduate Student Center facilities, plans New Student Orientation, and advises 60+ Graduate Student Organizations and Groups, too.
Weekly McDougal GSL E-notes tell you about GSL events and grad services. The GSL Notes are emailed automatically to all GSAS students weekly and posted in this portal as News.
GSAS Graduate students with spouses/partners can use this form to request access to Yale Connect and McDougal GSL Notes, and Prox ID Access to the McDougal Center. Spouses must request and receive Yale "sponsored Identity," which the form describes.
**Due to COVID-19 precautions, the McDougal Center facility is CLOSED and McDougal GSL Events in Person are cancelled or postponed. Virtual McDougal Grad events are being offered, so watch your emails and check Yale Connect for notices.**
