About Us

To provide spaces for undergraduate writers to come together to share and workshop pieces, and to provide an opportunity for students, especially underclassmen, to see their work in print. The Hippopotamus aims to build a stronger and more inclusive literary community on campus, and to especially encourage new and young writers at Yale.
