Tomorrow continues the Peabody Museum's 25th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr's Legacy of Social and Environmental Justice virtual celebration! The program has been transformed into a digital festival experience including free online programs with opportunities to engage in critical dialogue and enjoy storytelling, music, dance, and spoken word performances. Spring 2021 COVID-19 Safety Requirements for all students on campus - due by Feb 7
All students who will be accessing and/or living on campus in Spring 2021 term must do the required Gateway Testing, Compact Signing, Covid Safety Training, Flu shot (or waiver) and Daily Health Checks. Due by Feb.7 or ID may be deactivate.
We wanted to call this "you’ve been sitting at your desk all day, and this is what you should do so you don’t permanently damage your body" but it was a little long. Join yoga instructor and mobility expert Jeremy Bennett for a weekly class to keep us all moving. The exercises demonstrated may be a little different each week but you can join at any time. No special equipment needed. Accessible for all fitness levels.
Before the semester begins, test your puzzle solving and team work skills with an online escape room night featuring an escape room by the award winning organization "Deadlocked Escape Rooms". Bring along your friends and favorite escape room buddies or make new friends as you try to escape!

Being in nature has numerous health benefits! Patients in Yale-New Haven Hospital are being prescribed time spent in nature and green spaces to increase overall well-being. Join staff from the Office of Sustainability to learn how to maximize the benefits of being in nature for your own well-being. If you're in New Haven, we'll also have tips of where to explore locally.
With the winter setting in and most options for indoor activity closed, bring the fun into your own kitchen with this interactive event! We will provide all the supplies and knowledge you'll need to make a batch of your very own playdough that can be used time and time again for all kinds of kid crafts and distractions while we wait for warmer weather to arrive!
Socially distanced and safety conscious supplies pick up will happen on Tuesday 1/26 from 3:30-5:00 PM at the McDougal Center (135 Prospect Street). If you're not in New Haven but can provide your own supplies (1 cup flour, 1/2 cup salt, 1 TBSP vegetable oil, 2 tsp cream of tartar (optional) and food coloring (optiona), feel free to sign up also!
(NOTE--this recipe does require stovetop cooking, so please plan on having access to a stove/hotplate/burner. For hopefully understandable safety and budgetary considerations, we cannot provide a stove).
