Jen's Symposium Tip of the Week - The Title IX Office and the Title IX Student Advisory Boards invite you to the Title IX and Mental Wellness Symposium! This symposium will explore the intersection of experiences of gender-based discrimination and sexual misconduct with mental wellbeing, with a particular focus on the impact of sexual misconduct and gender discrimination on the emotional wellbeing and mental wellness of those who are members of marginalized identities, including racial or ethnic minorities, LGBTQ+ persons, and/or persons identifying as having a disability.The symposium will be held on Friday, April 30th, 2021 from 12:45-5pm. The university is strongly discouraging unnecessary travel for students, faculty and staff for the duration of this public health crisis. If you must travel outside of Greater New Haven CT area in Spring 2021 for 24 hours or more, as a GSAS Student you are required to submit a Travel Form to GSAS HSL IN ADVANCE of any travel. The form and Safety team will advise on Post-travel guidance for Fully Vaccinated Students, whose quarantine is eliminated or shortened, and not fully vaccinated students (required quarantine or 2 negative tests (Day 1 and day 5) before returning to any on-campus activities or access.)
McDougal Graduate Student Life is looking for a Family Fellow for the 2021-22 academic year! GSL Family Fellows create student life programs catered to GSAS students with families, and meet and collaborate with other students and administrators. You'll also get to develop your leadership and teamwork skills, and get paid! GSAS full-time degree students, in residence in Greater New Haven and in years 2-6 during the next academic year are invited to apply in any of 8 GSL program areas. Fellows serve 5-8 hrs per week and receive an honorarium. Applications close Sunday, May 2nd at 11:59pm. Interviews will be conducted over Zoom.

Join yoga instructor and mobility expert Jeremy Bennett for a weekly class to keep us all moving. The exercises demonstrated may be a little different each week but you can join at any time. No special equipment needed. Accessible for all fitness levels.
