Yale Outdoors serves the Yale community with high-quality and safe trips to explore the outdoors and develop wilderness skills. We create a community for students to meet and learn from others who are interested in the outdoors, hoping to make the outdoors accessible to all at Yale. We provide affordable wilderness skills training sessions and outdoor equipment for the Yale community. Above all, Yale Outdoors spreads the love for the outdoors and appreciation for nature with the rest of the Yale community.
Pnuckling is the process of beocming an official members of Yale Outdoors, and students can sign up to become a Pnuckle at the start of each semester. Pnuckling includes wilderness skill training, biweekly dinners, becoming a member of the Pnuckle community, and fun social events for members of the community!
Once becoming official members, members receive priority on all Yale Outdoors trips (including break trips) and a 50% discount on gear rental daily rates. In turn, members are asked to pay a yearly $20 membership due to help us keep up our amazing gear room and our nationwide events. Please contact us if dues pose a financial burden, and we are happy to make accommodations.
