The Global Collaborative Series is a joint initiative of Vanderbilt University School of Nursing, the University of Michigan School of Nursing, and Yale University School of Nursing.

The featured speakers for the month of November are Michelle Telfer, DNP, MPH, CNM, FACNM, Associate Professor, Yale School of Nursing and Rachel Zaslow, PhD, RM, Executive Director, Mother Health International.

Free and open to all with required registration, this monthly series runs through 2025 and offers a dedicated forum for nurse leaders, scholars, and students to explore global frameworks—such as the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and translate them into meaningful, practice-based action.

By highlighting the vital contributions of Advanced Practice Nurses (APNs) in advancing health equity, climate resilience, and sustainable healthcare systems, the series amplifies the transformative role of nursing in shaping a more just and sustainable future.
