About Us

The Yale Immigrant Justice Project (IJP) organizes law students in support of immigrant and migrant communities in the Greater New Haven area, around the United States, and beyond. Law students engage in projects involving direct legal services, assisting with strategic litigation, and investigative fact-finding and research. We envision a world where no one has to live in fear because of their documentation status and can migrate with dignity. We hope to use the skills, privileges, and opportunities our law degrees give us to work towards making that a reality.
