Are you a new international graduate or professional student at Yale? If you're wondering where to begin on this new journey, then you've come to the right place!
During this panel, current graduate and professional students will share the experiences they had as first-time graduate students at Yale. Topics of discussion will include the academic culture at Yale, adapting to life in the U.S., overcoming language/writing issues, and carving out a social life for yourself while enrolled in a full-time academic program. Students will share their tricks and tips, resources, and stories of challenges & successes while at Yale.
This event will be held over Zoom. Free, but registration is required.
Celebrate a successful first week of the semester by taking a hike up New Haven's most iconic rock! We'll meet at East Rock Park at 10 am, fuel up with some delicious donuts from Whitney Donut, and then head up the trails. Students only.

Meet us at the island on Broadway (56 Broadway, New Haven, CT 06511) to start our hunt for Geocaches downtown New Haven. We will be walking from the Island to the Yale Art Museum and end with free ice cream at Arethusa!

Here's your chance to meet everyone else who joined Yale in 2020! Mingle with your peers in person in the McDougal Center courtyard.
