Commencement day occurs rain or shine, so you and your guests should dress according to the weather forecast.
Must I participate in both the University and Yale School of the Environment Diploma Ceremony?
It is expected that all graduating YSE students attend the ceremonies on May 20 with their peers.

What is the dress code for Commencement?
We recommend wearing business or business casual attire with comfortable shoes beneath your graduation regalia. Dress according to the weather report (heat, rain, etc.).
Where do I pick up my cap/gown/hood?
You can attend the ESC Regalia giveaway on March 6 in Kroon G01. If you order your own, further details will come about where to gather your regalia.
My guests are coming from international locations and require a visa letter to come to the ceremonies - where can I obtain one?
You can obtain a visa letter from the Registrar's Office of the Yale School of the Environment.
