ABOUT NDEL
Since 2011, students have organized the New Directions in Environmental Law Conference (NDEL) to examine changes in and novel approaches to Environmental Law.
This year's New Directions in Environmental Law Conference will be hosted at Yale Law School and will analyze changes and emerging issues in environmental law.
The past year has brought many challenges and opportunities to the field of environmental law: U.S. courts have limited broad interpretation of environmental statutes, the legal system is adapting rapidly to new issues and decisions, and international courts are issuing advisory opinions on climate change.
By bringing together practitioners, scholars, activists, and law students, we anticipate that NDEL 2026 will provide participants with opportunities for progressive conversation and change.
