ASLaY seeks to foster a community of diverse ASL signers of all abilities and backgrounds. We aim to provide a space for those interested in sign language to gather and to learn from one another. In addition, we seek to celebrate the beauty and poeticism of sign. ASLaY seeks to fill a gap in the representation of languages on Yale's campus. We try to advocate for more ASL opportunities on campus to further foster and develop a campus-wide appreciation of ASL.

An Cumann Éireannach (The Irish Society) aims to bring together not just Irish nationals but any student interested in Ireland's rich culture, history, and language. In a country of mass Irish heritage, we hope to educate and inform, demystifying common misconceptions. The Black Student Alliance at Yale (BSAY) is a multi-cultural organization dedicated to enhancing the lives of Black students at Yale through political action, community action, and social events. Understanding that the world changes for the better through the determined efforts of concerned people, and that we are strongest when we are united, BSAY exists in order to create that unity and foster that change in hopes of furthering the cause of equality. As a student-run organization, BSAY is responsible for advocating for the students at Yale, taking political stands, and creating the sense of community necessary to unite students to work for positive change. On campus, we strive to meet the needs of the Black community by holding weekly meetings that are pertinent to the lives of Black students on campus and that create a supportive community for all Black students at Yale. BSAY strives create a safe and active community in order to adequately represent and respond to the Black community. This sense of community must come from both current social activities and from a sense of shared history and culture. Our strength comes from not only the collective struggle of our contemporaries but also the cumulative struggles of thousands who have sacrificed before us. Let us strive in our efforts so that we may fulfill the dreams of those who struggled before and brighten the futures of those yet to come.

The Chinese American Students Association is designed to facilitate a Chinese American community that educates the Yale University campus on anything and everything that involves Chinese Americans and Asian Americans today. CASA tries to further political activism for Chinese American and Asian American interests on campus, seeking to be not only reactive but also proactive in its search to further the Chinese American/Asian American political agenda. CASA is heavily involved with the Asian American Students Alliance/Political Action Committee and works cooperatively with all the other organizations on campus in order to provide the optimal power and voice for the Chinese American community. In addition to nurturing political awareness concerning Chinese Americans, Chinese American Students Association also strives to promote social interaction and unity through numerous popular activities like hosting our annual Lunar New Year event, Cultural Show, mixers, and other social activities. CASA also plays a sizable role in organizing and driving many activities during Asian Pacific American month. Others include study breaks, karaoke nights and movie screenings. CASA also reaches beyond the Yale community by taking trips to New York's Chinatown, creating intercollegiate coalition with other CSAs such as Harvard's CSA and Columbia's CSC and inviting guest speakers to Yale. CASA also plays a role locally in New Haven, with a community outreach program seeks to encourage interaction between Yale and Chinese American children from the New Haven area.

Contigo Per├║ has as its primary goals the promotion of Peruvian culture at Yale and the creating of a space for Peruvian and Peruvian-American students, as well as those with an interest in the country. Despierta Boricua aims to bring together members of the Yale community who in any way identify with the heritage of the Caribbean island of Puerto Rico in celebration of its culture, history, and traditions. Despierta Boricua shall also take an active role in promoting the causes of the Puerto Rican people both from the island and its diaspora through education and activism. As one of the founding organizations of La Casa Cultural Julia de Burgos, the Latino Cultural Center at Yale, Despierta Boricua also aims to promote the causes and interests of the greater Latino community at Yale.
